4 dead in shooting in Montana Bar, suspect in general: road patrol

Four people died in a shooting at a bar in Anaconda in western Montana, according to the Montana road patrol.

The suspect of shooting, Michael Paul Brown, 45, is released and is believed to be armed and dangerous, said the center of application of Anaconda-Der Lodge County Law.

The governor of Montana, Greg Gianforte, said on social networks that he was “closely monitoring the situation involving an active shooter in Anaconda.”

According to the Sheriff of the near Butte-Silver Bow county, the shooting occurred in the owl bar in Anaconda, a city of approximately 9,000 people in southern Montana.

It is not yet clear what led to shooting.

Brown was last seen driving a White Ford F-15 2007 truck with Montana plates, said the Sheriff.
