When leaving the White House for the 250s of the Navy on Sunday, President Donald Trump continued to celebrate his Gaza Peace proposal while admitting that the negotiations are still ongoing.

“They are negotiating right now while we talk, they have started the negotiation. It will last a couple of days. We will see how it results. But I hear that it is going very well,” Trump said.

A reporter pressed Trump about his faith in a Palestinian authority to control Gaza without the influence of Hamas, angry with the journalist for doubting the agreement.

“Well, it’s a great offer for Israel, and it’s a great offer for everyone. And you want to recover hostages, right? Do you want them back? Or do you not want them back?” Trump joked the journalist who said he worked for an Israeli media company.

“It’s a lot to Israel. It is a great offer for the whole Arab world, the Muslim world and the world. So we are very happy,” Trump said.

Trump’s irritation comes as Axios informed On Sunday morning, Trump got angry when Netanyahu said there was nothing to celebrate after Trump called him to discuss Hamas’s “yes” to his peace proposal.

“I don’t know why you are always so negative from the king. This is a victory. Take it,” Axios said.
