Three students were injured after a shooting took place in a high school in Evergreen, Colorado, on Wednesday, according to the Sheriff’s Office of the Jefferson County.
The Sheriff’s office confirmed to ABC News that Evergreen High School students were heading to the hospital.
The suspect was committed and neutralized, according to the officials responsible for enforcing the law. The officials are sweeping the campus and the campus is still locked up, since it is considered an active scene.

The three patients are in critical condition and are being transported to the St. Anthony hospital, confirmed a hospital spokesman for ABC News.
The alcohol, tobacco office, firearms and explosives is also responding to the scene.
Denver’s FBI also said in a statement that they are “aware of the situation”, they have the staff that responds to the scene and “is ready to help.”
Parents are asked to meet with students in Bergen Meadow Elementary.
