Former President Joe Biden in one of his first public speeches since he left the White House offered a complete reprimand of the Trump administration efforts to reduce Social Security on Tuesday, qualifying the amount of damage that the White House has inflicted on the “impressive” and “devastating” program, a strong deviation from its efforts while in office to protect it and “make it stronger.”
“Well, look what is happening. In less than 100 days, this new administration has done so much … caused so much damage, and so much, it is a bit impressive that it could happen soon,” said Biden.
Biden avoiding saying the name of his successor. In his comments of almost 30 minutes, the 82 -year -old player often sounded silent, with several different outbursts in defense of social security and his recipients. His only indirect mention of President Donald Trump was to call him “this guy.”
Biden was presented by the former governor of Maryland and Social Security administrator Martin O’Malley compared to approximately 180 attendees of defenders, counselors and representatives of the Conference Conference in Chicago.

“I will not go further and get into trouble …” Biden said early in his speech, while turning and then highlighted his own achievements as president to raise Social Security to rebuke the current cuts of the White House.
“The last time this guy had the work, the debt roof increased due to a huge and carefree tax reduction to the super rich,” Biden said later.
“They wanted to reduce social security,” Biden added, calling the Republican members of Congress. “Not under my watch. We refuse to accompany all that,” he said.
Later in the comments of the former president, he expelled any hesitation to criticize the current administration, even saying that Trump’s voters in the 2024 elections did not have “heart.”
“What makes us different from the rest of the world? In my opinion, in my opinion, the fundamental American values. No one is the king,” Biden said, referring to Trump.
“You cannot continue like this, as a divided nation, as divided as we are, as I said, I have been doing this a lot of time. It has never been so divided. Granted, it is only 30 percent, but it is 30 percent that has no heart.”
He also warned of additional social security cuts.
“They have taken an ax in Social Security, pushing 7,000 additional employees, 7,000 through the door at that time, including the most experienced career officials. They are now preparing to push something more for the door.”
Biden also hit Trump’s secretary, Howard Lutnick, already his main advisor Elon Musk.
“Based on [Lutnick’s] Comments, he doesn’t even seem to care. You saw what the other day said. By the way, he is a billionaire … he said that his 94 -year -old mother -in -law would not complain, he wouldn’t bother her. Probably lovely woman. It is not a joke … His son -in -law is a billionaire. What happens to that 94 -year -old mother who lives alone?
“Friends, it is not just the Secretary of Commerce, where we listen to how others, empowered and emboldened by this administration, talk about Social Security, one of them called a ‘Ponzi scheme’. A Ponzi scheme: what the hell are they talking about?” Said Biden, referring to Musk.
Biden suggested that White House movements were based on the adage of the technology industry to “move quickly and break things.”
He also said that this Congress would move to reduce the program through the Republican financing package that would cause Trump’s tax cuts in 2017 to be permanent.
“These guys are willing to damage the middle class, the working class, to offer significant and greater wealth than the already very rich,” he said. “Who the hell believes they are? I really think they, I mean, simply a basic and basic decency. Who believes they are?”
Biden’s speech occurred when Democratic leaders of Congress announced Tuesday as a “action day” centered on social security.
“Throughout the country, the Democrats are leading the struggle to oppose the Republican Plan to destroy Social Security. Our Social Security Action Day will mobilize Americans from all corners of the United States to delay Donald Trump, Elon Musk and Doge’s Ruts to Social Social Security,” said Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer, Democrat Chuck Schumer, DN.Y., and Democratic Democratic leader Jeffries, DN.Y., in a statement by the Chuck Schumer Senate.
“Republicans want to reduce this critical life line by making it more difficult for older people and people with disabilities to access their benefits.
