Cassie Ventura's lawyer speaks after Sean 'Diddy' Combs'

Cassie Ventura’s The lawyer issued a statement in his name after they are “Diddy” Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison for his conviction for two crimes related to prostitution.

In a statement to ABC News, Ventura’s lawyer, Doug Wigdor, said: “While nothing can undo the trauma caused by combs, the sentence imposed today recognizes the impact of the serious crimes he committed.”

Wigdor continued: “We are sure that with the support of her family and friends, Mrs. Ventura will continue to heal knowing that her courage and strength have been an inspiration for many.”

Before the combs sentence, Ventura wrote a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian, pleading to consider her and the experiences of other victims, and recalled her testimony in court as “the most traumatic and horrible chapter of my life.”

He added that in his time dating combs, he found “in a constant state of hypervigilance.”

“I still have nightmares and flashbacks regularly, every day, and I still requiring psychological attention to deal with my past,” he wrote.

“My concerns that they are combs or their associates will come behind me and my family is my reality. In fact, I have moved my family away from the New York area and I stay as private and quiet as possible because I am so scared that if you walk free, your first actions will be a quick remuneration towards me and others who talked about their abuse in the trial,” Ventura added.

Ventura testified for four days during the first week of combs test.

“Many of my clients were very worried that I could walk free for the end of this year, the time and then a couple more months,” he said.

“And they were very afraid that he would retaliate against them. And I think they will be happy that he is at least in prison for several years,” added Allred.
