A double German American citizen appeared on Sunday in a federal court in Brooklyn for charges that he tried to bombard a branch of the United States embassy in Tel Aviv, according to officials responsible for enforcing the law.
Joseph Neumeyer arrived in Israel in April and on May 19 he published on his Facebook account: “Join me this afternoon in Tel Aviv, we are burning the United States. Embassy” and “Join me while burning the embassy in Tel Aviv. Death to the United States. Death to Americans and F — West”, according to a criminal lawsuit.
That same day, Neumeyer arrived outside the branch of the United States Embassy in Tel Aviv with a backpack, according to the complaint. Neumeyer approached and spit on a guard and the guard tried to stop Neumeyer, who spoke blasphemies before turning and fleeing, leaving his backpack behind, according to the complaint.
The officials responsible for enforcing the law recovered from Neumeyer’s backpack several bottles that had become Molotov cocktails, according to the complaint.

He was arrested at the hotel where Israel stayed and deported to the United States, according to the authorities.
Neumeyer’s social media accounts also contained threatening positions that, among other things, requested the murder of President Donald Trump, according to prosecutors.
“Neumayer was arrested earlier this week in Israel, when Embassy officials discovered a backpack that carried multiple explosive devices and a social networks account allegedly linked to Neumayer that detailed the intention of attacking the embassy and threatening President Trump,” published the director of the FBI Kash Patel in X.
“Now he will face justice,” Patel wrote.
