Deir al Balah, Gaza – The former ABC News journalist, Husam Al-Titi, was killed in an Israeli air attack in Gaza on Monday night, the night in which the fire ended between Israel and Hamas, according to Al-Titi’s family.

Al-Titi was a sound engineer for ABC News for 20 years until 2014, when he left the company and became a teacher. He lived in the city of Gaza with his wife, his daughter and three children, but was in Deir Al Balah in a travel camp when he was killed.

The wife, the daughter and three of her children of Al-Titi were taken to the hospital after the air attack. Three of his children remain hospitalized and one was seriously injured, said Al-Titi’s family to ABC News.
