The Powerball jackpot is estimated to rise to $1.5 billion for Saturday night’s drawing, marking the fifth-largest prize in lottery history, after no tickets matched all six numbers drawn Wednesday, the lottery said.
A $1.25 billion Powerball jackpot was up for grabs Wednesday night, with a cash value of $572.1 million. The winning numbers drawn on Wednesday were: 25, 33, 53, 62, 66 and the red Powerball 17.
That was the sixth-largest prize ever awarded to the game, according to Powerball. The largest prize in history was $2.04 billion won on November 7, 2022.
The Powerball jackpot was last won on September 6 with two tickets in Missouri and Texas splitting a $1.787 million prize. There have been 43 consecutive drawings without jackpots.

The drawing will take place shortly before 11 pm ET at the Florida Lottery drawing studio in Tallahassee.
