The Timberwolves of Minnesota announced in a press release on Friday that the team launched an investigation after some of its fans violated NBA’s code of conduct to allegedly making “racially loaded” comments for the Draymond Green warriors during the team. In a statement published in the PR of Timberwolves in unknownThe team said that a Minnesota fan was expelled during the fourth quarter of the game on Thursday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis, while another voluntarily went before security could identify it, but an investigation is ongoing to determine its identity.
“A fan was expelled for the security of the Target Center for violating the code of behavior of NBA fans in an incident that involved Draymond Green. A second individual who was identified by surrounding customers who make racially loaded comments towards Green on their own before the security of the sand could confirm its identity. “The Timberwolves and Target Center are firmly committed to promoting an inclusive, respectful and safe environment. For all racist behavior of hate or threatening, it does not take place in our games or in our community, and will not be tolerated under any circumstance,” the statement continued.

The expulsion of fans took place after Green received his fifth technique during this year’s playoffs during an incident during the second quarter with the center of Timberwolves Naz Reid. After Green was committed by Reid, Green seemed to shake his arms and hit Reid on his face with his elbow. During the playoffs, a player is automatically suspended by a game after a seventh technical foul.

According ESPNGreen affirmed during the comments to journalists after Thursday’s game that there is an “agenda” against him.
“It seemed the angry black man,” Green said. “I am not an angry black man. I am a very successful black man with a big family, and I am excellent in basketball and excellent in what I do.”
“The agenda to try to continue making me look like an angry black man is crazy. I’m fed up with it. It’s ridiculous,” he added.
The incident took place during the victory of the Minnesota game 2 in the second round of the NBA playoffs, where they defeated the Gold State Warriors 117-93 and leveled the semifinal series of the West Conference in 1-1.
The victory occurred during the absence of the Warriors star, Steph Curry, who suffered a left hamstring lying and is scheduled to be reevaluated in a few days.
